JAZZ ICONS: RHYTHM AND BLUES AT THE APOLLO THEATRE

Snader Telescriptions, produced for television in 1951 and 1952, were film versions of popular and classical music performances. Singers, dancers, orchestras, and novelty acts appeared in the Snader musicals. They were presented on television in the same way that music videos are shown today. Rhythm and Blues At The Apollo Theatre includes songs from Faye Adams, Ruth Brown and The Clovers.
