JAZZ ICONS: DIXIELAND JAZZ VOL 1

Snader Telescriptions, produced for television in 1951 and 1952, were film versions of popular and classical music performances. Singers, dancers, orchestras, and novelty acts appeared in the Snader musicals. They were presented on television in the same way that music videos are shown today. Dixieland Vol 1 includes numbers by The Bobcats and Jack Teagarden, both from 1951.
